# Partner Action Inquiry Brief Skill

Use this skill to get the status of action inquiries you've filed: disputed, missing, or incorrectly credited actions, unresolved or incomplete tickets, and declined reasons. It generates a Markdown brief with status counts, a needs-attention queue, and 3 next actions.

### Prerequisites

1. MCP access enabled on your impact.com partner account.
2. Client connected per [MCP Quick Start](/ai-solutions/mcp-quick-start.md).
3. Action Inquiries enabled on your account. This feature may require a specific impact.com edition. [Contact us](https://app.impact.com/support/portal.ihtml?createTicket=true) if you need to upgrade.

### Install the skill

1. Download or copy the skill package above.
2. Install it in Claude, Cursor, or VS Code using the [Install an MCP Skill](/ai-solutions/mcp-skills/install-an-mcp-skill.md) help page.
3. Use this package's frontmatter when the AI client asks for metadata:
   * Name: `Partner action-inquiry brief`
   * Description: `Build an action-inquiry status brief for an impact.com partner account from live MCP data. Use when the user asks about disputed, missing, or incorrectly credited actions, unresolved or incomplete inquiries, declined reasons, or a specific inquiry or order.`
   * Folder name (Cursor / VS Code): `partner-action-inquiry-brief`
4. With impact.com MCP connected, prompt: "Show my action inquiry status for the last 90 days. Flag anything incomplete or declined, and tell me what happened to the inquiry for order \[Order Id] if it appears."
