# Media Properties

*Media Properties* describe the locations (e.g., websites, social media, and mobile apps) where you place advertisements and tracking links to drive traffic to brands. For example, a blog where you embed partner tracking links into your content (i.e., to send readers to recommended products or services) would be considered a *media property*.
